Angesichts tropischer Außentemperaturen von fast 37 Grad Celcius verspürten nur wenige Mitglieder Lust, ihrem Verein einen Besuch abzustatten. Gerade einmal fünf Mitglieder stellten sich in A- und B-Gruppe der Aufgabe, ebenfalls fünf Gästen Paroli zu bieten.
Unter den Gästen befand sich mit Jan-Joris Groenewold (die angegebene DWZ ist eine FIDE-Elo) und seiner Freundin Tina Romp (B-Gruppe) ein niederländisches Schachpärchen, die einige Tage in Berlin Urlaub machten.
